CSS Competitive Examination-2026

1. MCQ Based Preliminary Test (MPT) will be held on Sunday 9th November2025.
2. CSS Competitive Examination (CE) Rules 2019 and onwards, governing the entire
   CSS CE cycle and MPT are available on FPSC Website and will be strictly complied
   with no exceptions.
3. Qualifying MPT is mandatory for applying and appearing in main CSS CE 2026.
4. MPT is likely to be held at following 19 Centers upon the availability of sufficient candidates:
   (1) Abbottabad (2) Bahawalpur (3) D.G. Khan (4) D.I. Khan (5) Faisalabad (6) Gilgit
   (7) Gujranwala (8) Hyderabad (9) Islamabad (10) Karachi (11) Lahore (12) Larkana
   (13) Multan (14) Muzaffarabad(15) Peshawar (16) Quetta (17) Rawalpindi (18) Sargodha
   (19) Sukkur.
5. ELIGIBILITY: Candidates with at least 2nd Division Bachelor’s degree and age between
   21 to 30 years comprising both male and female including special persons are eligible to apply.
   The upper age limit is relaxed by 02 years for categories mentioned in Rule 6 of CSS
   CE Rules-2019 and onwards.
6. Cutoff Date for determining eligibility (age, qualification, domicile etc.) is 31st December 2025.
7. ONLINE APPLICATION: Apply on FPSC’s website during the period 11~25 August 2025.
8. CLOSING DATE for Submission of Online Application is25th August 2025.
9. SYLLABUS of MPT may be seen on FPSC’s website.
10. Candidates are Advised To:
    a. Carefully fill in the online application and check it before final submission.

    b. Deposit Rs. 250/-as Exam Fee, before the closing date in the nearest Government
    Treasury/State Bank of Pakistan/National Bank of Pakistan under the account head
    “C02101-Organs of State
    Exam fee (FPSC Receipt) and bring Original Challan Form at Exam Center to be handed
    over to the Supervisor before the Test.

    c. Admission Certificates: Can be downloaded from FPSC website 10 days before the
    test. No separate intimation to this effect will be made by FPSC.

    d. Be informed that Examination Centre once selected shall not be changed.

    e. CNIC & Date of Birth to be entered correctly in online form. Wrong entries lead to rejection.

    f. Candidates are advised to ensure the provision of correct & complete information.

    g. FPSC has Zero tolerance against cheating/ unfair means.
